What is "The Table Project"?

Your dining table is perhaps one of the most important pieces of furniture in your entire house. The table is an epicenter of activity, family dinners, kids homework, writing last minute holiday cards. We all spend at least a small part of the day at the table. The dining table is also a big focal point for the room that surrounds it. A common response from many a client in what a "hit" the table was at the holiday party or dinner... a response that gives me great satisfaction.

The dining table is, in my opinion, absolutely the one piece that is worth putting time and effort into selecting. Over the years it has come to my attention that there is a huge void on the market for a "quality" table. With cheap finishes, lousy slide mechanisms, and unrefined clunky leg styles, these manufactured pieces are mediocre at best and deteriorate over a relatively short time.

The old adage "you get what you pay for" couldn't be more true in this instance. Most people have never thought of a custom piece. A common misconception is "custom pieces are too expensive..." or people are "not really sure how to go about ordering a table".
